BraWo Marathi Mandal e.V. in cooperation with Stadt Braunschweig organised Sitar Concert by Yogendra-Jens Eckert on 30th October, 2021.
Yogendra Eckert, a talented Sitarist from Braunschweig together with Ravi Srinivasan from Berlin, a Tabla Player who has gifted skills to able to whistle the Raga tunes during his tabla playing, lead a wonderful musical journey by presenting evening Ragas: “Puriya Kalyan” and “Kirwani”. The “Roter Saal” was full of responsive voices and applaud on all their musical performance peaks.
BraWo Marathi Mandal is proud that such a Sitar-Concert was long due in Braunschweig & could finally happen through their musical initiative! We are so happy to have this engagement and looking forward to more of such Programs in future.
