BraWo Marathi Mandal had its Mesmerizing Sangeet Mehfil on 5th August 2023 at the Gemeindehaus „Paul-Gerhardt-Haus“ in Weddel.
Mrs. Smita Ponkshe and Mrs. Shraddha Kulkarni moderated the event in Marathi and German respectively. Mohit Karle presented Raag Miya Malhar, Natyageet & Abhang. His amazing start in the indian classical was followed by Varad Bhagwat’s nostalgic song from Movie Anand – “Kahin Door Jab din”. Amol Sainis presented Raag Charukeshi on Sitar.
Jairaj Kalsy ji mesmerised the whole audience with his divine voice through Sufi and Gazal singing.
This Mehfil was accompanied by Satish Ponkshe as well as Mohit Karle on Tabla, Varad Bhagwat on Harmonium/Keyboard, Shubho Chakravarti on Cajon & Saurabh Londhe on Shaker. Overall this 3 hrs of indian classical and sufi-Gazal musical journey was absolutely stunned the audience and was very well received.
